A classic-style, "black-box" teleplay recorded live by students at a local college TV studio. I selected and secured rights for the material from the author Ann Wuehler, cast the roles and worked with the actors (Rashanna Harmon as "Ruth" and Zoe Geltman as "Phoebe"), and directed the performance & recording.

Echo Chernik), a professional artist/illustrator known for her breathtaking, sometimes salacious, portraits of futuristic & fantastic women in a distinctive art style built on classic art nouveau themes. Also interviewed her husband and business partner, Lazarus Chernik. This interview was published as a promotional excerpt from the documentary project, Who are you Wearing?.

Extended version of my Masters' thesis documentary exploring the use of alternate identity in geek culture, especially by women, minorities, and LGBT people as a means of creating social bonds in spite of common culture/gender/sexuality divisions. Shot using a combination of one-on-one interviews, convention/social event coverage, and media excerpts as direct commentary.
Promos: Hamlet Behind-the-Scenes

Series of promotional videos featuring key cast/crew members of a local theater troupe's performance of Hamlet. Collaborated with the play-director (Rob Weinstein) and video-director (Jessica Mason) to select profile subjects and to develop an approach that suggested a refreshing take on well-known material. Footage from one-on-one interviews and rehearsals spanned a broad range of shooting equipment and environments, so I used a lot of post-production "tricks" trying to achieve a unified look-and-sound.
